The Farm Shop is pleased to announce they have added the Versatile line of tractors to accomodate their customers' needs for high horsepower four wheel drive tractors. For several decades, the Versatile line of tractors have been produced in north America and have earned a long standing reputation for ruggedness and reliability. Versatile was the first company to mass-produce articulated four-wheel drive tractors, starting in 1966 with the D100 and G100 four-wheel drives. Those ground-breaking tractors were primitive by modern standards, with a 6-cylinder diesel or 8-cylinder gas engine producing 100 horsepower. 1966 models sold for less than CA$10,000. In the 1970's, Versatile had over a 70% market share of the high-horsepower four wheel drive market and inspired many imitators. Over the years, Versatile has continued to improve and refine their tractors. Today's Versatile tractor is the culmination of 45 years of experience at the fore front of the 4WD market with models up to 575 HP.
